Commonwealth Games is among the largest, most widely watched and keenly competed athletic events in the world. The 2022 Games brought athletes from Commonwealth nations to Birmingham, UK, in a colourful celebration of sporting spirit and human performance.
Co-developed and delivered by Pico and SportsConnect for Commonwealth Games Australia, the Sideline Champions Programme offered a range of tools and information to enable family and friends to support their athletes or team members before, during and after the Games.
Football fans at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia would have their first encounter with vivo, the tournament's official smartphone brand. vivo uses sporting event partnerships to build a brand profile outside their home market in China – but the World Cup would truly catapult them to a global stage. The physical centrepiece was a booth located at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Behind the razzmatazz of the 2017 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s (SG7s) was Pico, engaged by organizer Rugby Singapore Pte Ltd to provide full event management of the tournament.
Though Pico had successfully managed the previous year’s SG7s, the 2017 edition would be different, with greater emphasis placed on “building” the event in terms of branding, anticipation, and extending appeal for the whole family.

Engaged by the Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU), Pico was heavily involved in stadium branding, designing and creating most of the artwork around the Hong Kong stadium and executing way-finding signage for the public and the workforce.

Among these companies was Taiwan Beer, a brand that is both synonymous with Taiwanese culture and the island’s best selling beer. It saw a partnership with the Games as an excellent means of ‘testing the waters’ in the mainland China market.

Pico was appointed with the proviso that the set be fabricated in the UK, which would allow the BBC team to review some full-sized mock-ups prior to shipment to Rio.
The Bank of China (BOC) commissioned Pico to fabricate and install the interior décor of a 400 sq. m. VIP hospitality tent at the Olympic Green. All hospitality tentage used by 2008 Olympic Partners was provided by the Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG). The primary aim was to ensure partners could offer consistently high standards of hospitality for VIPs and guests before, during and after the 2008 Games’ various sports.

A series of fascinating artifacts dating back to BOC’s earliest days plus various interactive kiosks helped attract visitors of all ages and walks of life to the Pavilion.
